The Methodist Church of Ghana, Gethsemane Society, Baatsona, Starts Segregation At Source!

Due to the immense benefits of segregating at source, the Methodist Church of Ghana, Gethsemane Society, Baatsona, has joined the increasing number of churches implementing segregation at source on their premises, after a team from Jekora Ventures Limited educated the congregation on good sanitation and waste management practices on Sunday 16th June 2019. This was in response to a call by the church to be educated on existing proper waste management options and on waste valorization.  Jekora was represented by Mr. Ebenezer Nartey-Tokoli, (Finance Manager), Mrs. Martha Adjoa Nartey (Innovations Manager) and Mr. Emmanuel Chainortey (Segregation Officer). During the presentation, Mrs. Martha Adjoa Nartey stressed the need to be custodians of the environment and also to start segregating at the source of generation as immediate steps to integrated and sustainable waste management.

Jekora donated 4 colour coded labeled bins to the church to aid in the proper segregation of waste.
